After college, she worked as an environmental organizer, running eight field campaigns in cities across the country. She then became the Democracy Advocate for U.S. Public Interest Research Group in DC, where she researched, wrote, and lobbied on campaign finance reform and voting rights. Before law school, she backpacked in Central America for four months to brush up on her Spanish, get SCUBA certified, and volunteer. She loved her first year of Penn Law. In addition to serving on Lambda Board, she participated in the Williams Institute Moot Court Competition and was on the board of the Environmental Law Project. She also co-founded a new student run pro bono project focused on issues of domestic democracy. She will be spending her 2L summer working for Earthjustice in Bozeman, Montana, where she hopes to not get eaten by a bear. Blair plays ice hockey and soccer in her spare time when she is not studying or editing articles for the University of Pennsylvania Law Review.
