Lambda Law promotes an ethic of service by encourages students to engage in public interest activities in the Philadelphia community. 

We are proud to support the Mazzoni Center Legal Services as our pro bono initiative. If you are a current student interested in volunteering at the Mazzoni Center, please reach out to us.

Mazzoni Center Legal Services provides direct legal assistance to low-income LGBT individuals in a wide range of areas, including: elder issues; employment discrimination; family law; name changes for transgender individuals; relationship recognition and dissolution; wills and powers of attorney; and, youth concerns.

Mazzoni Center Legal Services also represent individuals in cases which may have an impact on the status of LGBT rights within Pennsylvania.  They provide expert assistance in the complex legal matters that affect LGBT individuals due to their sexual orientation and/or gender identity.
